It is an overcast, melancholy day. The rain falls melodically outside my second story window, fusing with the sounds of the ambient lo-fi hip-hop playing through my computer. My husky sleeps soundly at my side while I sit and contemplate what lies within my finished cup of coffee. The diffuse, overcast light seems to mimic my mood. I find it is a tranquil feeling. Everything on the surface seems quiet and dull.
However, there seems to be some sort of restlessness about. Possibly even mischief. Is there a fox in the hen house?
Hello! Another cup of coffee to start another day. I fear this one is a little out of place in regards to the holidays, but inspiration has no clock! I would like to appropriately title this piece, 'The Nightmare Before Christmas.'
I am really enjoying this process thus far, and I hope that you all continue to take this journey through this black canvas that is coffee with me. Have a great day everyone!
I was sitting and enjoying my morning coffee when I was hit with a bit of inspiration. I quite often find that I have nothing to write about on my blog, and I may have found a solution!
Whilst staring into the infinite void of empty mug before me, deeply saddened that it was finished, I saw a creature that was reciprocating my anguish, and I just had to share the shy guy.
I see little images in the bottom of my mug quite often, as I am sure you all do. For me, it will be a great way to get my day started and wake the right-side of my brain up, in addition to giving me material for my blog. So please feel free to comment or even share your own coffee creations!
Is your coffee trying to tell you something? Coffee Conspiracy!
All the Best,
Good day all...
Good day, good day!
Taking a quick minute to update anyone who has decided to follow this pathetic excuse for a blog! Not much of one, but I assure you I have not given up!
I just posted some pages for my original story, Bayraku. However, as I have gone back and read through the story and saw where it was headed, I decided it was not working. Therefore, I have ripped up parts of the foundation and restructured them. With that said, these pages are now no longer part of the story. So I share them with you all!
I hope you like them. I am hard at work, reinvigorated and ready to put some passionate labor hours into my comic. I am aiming to have this first issue, Book 0, ready to go by October.

Thanks for your patience!
I want to take a moment to thank all of you that stopped by my table this past weekend. It was a distinct pleasure to meet and talk with so many great people! Knowing that there are people out there that take an interest in what I am doing definitely helps get me out of bed in the morning and drag my lazy butt to my computer!
I'm happy to say that my story is beginning to snowball, and I'm confident that progress and production will begin to pick up!
Thanks again to everyone that showed up at OCE. It means a great deal to myself, and though I cannot speak for the other exhibitors there, I am quite sure they are just as grateful as I am.
I look forward to seeing you all again soon!
It's been about a month since my last postbut it has been a busy one! I wanted to shoot out a quick Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. I hope that you all had a memorable holiday and got to spend it with some or at least one person that you are close to. Personally, I am thankful for the opportunities I have been given in my life, and the neverending support I have received along the way. I am not where I am today because of my own efforts, but because of the efforts of those closest to me. Thank you for everything.
Quick update, I have been hard at work writting my story. It is going smoothly, and I anticipate to be down with it here in the next few days. After that, I shall be emailing it to some people to read through it and give me notes. During that time I will be writing Book 2.
So, again, thanks to all of you that are supporting me. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Be well and take care.
To all those who came out to the Olympic Collectible Expo, I want to thank you for sharing your time with us and supporting the artists and vendors. I also want to thank those of you that stopped at my booth to talk with me about my artwork and my comic, Bayraku. It means a lot to me and I look forward to sharing my work with all of you.
Overall, the convention was quite successful. I had a great time meeting such a wonderful community of people.
I also want to thank the OCE Committee for dedicating so much time to this event. They do a great job and provide a great service by bringing people of similar interests together to converse, form new relationships, share ideas, and most importantly, have a great time.
Thanks again to all of you. I sincerely appreciate all of it.
Welcome to my blog, and enjoy my first post. I am a bit late to the game as I hear pets have their own blogs these days. Better late than never. That's what they say, right? Right. So, without further ado, I give you something to pass the time!
Take a look around my site, stay, make yourself comfortable. And if you're reading this before October 1st, congratulations, you're probably the first visitor to my site. Unfortunately, you win nothing but the knowledge that I will be displaying and selling my art at the Olympic Collectible Expo. So if you're in the area, come say hi! Thanks for stopping by, many sincere thanks!
