The Wise Warrior
To consider all views To respect those that oppose you And understand that they survive just as you do It's not a matter of win or lose For we all lose when violence is our only solution Increase the Peace Maintain respect and increase Your humility, as we begin a tranquil revolution The Wise Warrior

The frontier...our generation's frontiers are spiritual. There are no borders to create, no new lands to explore, no sunsets to follow. It has been that way for some time though. People are now looking to the stars. No longer will it be cowboys and Indians, but astronauts and aliens. I wonder what it will be like eons from now. Will people vacation to galaxies like we vacation to island getaways? Will we eventually populate the entire universe? Will the universe be better for it? I despise the idea of humanity hopping from one planet to the other, ravaging it of its resources and moving on to the next like a swarm of parasites, eventually becoming the villains we create in fiction. Are we the Flood from Halo? Are we Galactus? Or are we just an adolescent species still learning from its mistakes?
I think of these things and wonder how things like race and religion continue to divide humanity. It is simply perplexing. In comparison, it just makes Earth seem so much smaller and immature to me. If deep space travel was present to us, I wonder if humanity would even be ready for such a responsibility. Anyhow, such a topic may be a bit too heavy during morning coffee! Sunshine! Puppy dogs and ice cream! I'll end with a joke... A skeleton walks into a bar and orders a beer and a mop. Have a great day everyone! As the days phase one into the other like a fine gradient, I find there are fragile moments where I am perfectly aware of my place in the world. The superficialities of life seem no more important than an obsolete technology destined for the forgotten corner of a forgotten warehouse in a forgotten district of a forgotten ghost city. I sit and I am simply appreciative of the gifts that cannot be made by man. Then, as quickly as it comes, it is gone, and I am once again lost in the gradient.
I am learning that the finite things in life are the most important because they are just that, finite. It is my wish, for myself and for those of you that are reading this, that we become more aware of these moments and surrender to them. Enjoy a conversation with a loved one for just a few words more, keep your feet in the water a little while longer, savor the last sip of your drink, do not turn around until the sun has completely set, and revel in the moment, for they are gone much too quickly. If we have never met, if we see each other every day, if we are friends, if we are enemies, if we rarely talk, if we talk all the time, for better or for worse, every moment of every day...I am grateful for every one of you, whether I get the chance to say it or not, it will always be so! Cheers to all of you. Back again and still here with another cup of coffee for you caffein drinkers out there.
First and foremost, I must explain my absence. My old computer finally gave out, so I come to you now with a fresh new computer, and a fresh new illustration. Alas, it is just an excuse, but I guess there are times where one simply cannot provide a product when a cog or two is missing from the production line. I hope you all are excited to see that the Coffee Conspiracy still lurks from the depths of my mug, for I am excited to continue sharing these miniature creations once again. Like a tiger crouched in the tall grass waiting to pounce, I have been anxiously awaiting the moment I could start doing this again. I wish that this post finds you all well and prosperous. Talk with you all soon...It's a melancholy kind of day
Adrift in clouds of gray While the snow falls in such a way Without direction or care Neither cheated nor fair Quite the pair The snow and I Winter...I miss it so. Many people think I am crazy for loving the weather here in the Northwest. "I don't know how you handle nine months of gray skies," they tell me. I don't either, but I love it. Unfortunately, where I am at, there is an abundant shortage of snow in the winter months.
A new cup of coffee and a New Year. Happy New Year everyone!
I guess a blooming rose is as good an image as any to symbolize a fresh start. I want to thank all of you that continue to read this blog, continue to support me, and continue to be amazing! I have a few exciting things lined up for 2019, and I look forward to sharing it all with you. I hope everyone had a fun and safe holiday season. Be well, and like all the roses out there, stay beautiful! As we creep ever closer to a new year, I look into the bottom of my cup of coffee and see a familiar face. This face causes me to recall the excitement I use to feel when I saw a new anime, played a new video game, or read a new comic book. To many, this may seem ridiculous, and looking back as an adult, perhaps it was. However, when I look back on it, I am filled with gratitude. You see, what I felt is what I define passion to be. I assume there are some that may have no passions. And I assume there are those that are fortuitous to have passions, but are unable to pursue them for one reason or another. I think about this, and I realize what a rare opportunity I have, and it fills me with gratitude.
Good morning again!
